In the video work Sentinel, barriers are explored - this time more specifically. How do we know where the boundaries are, both physically and emotionally? Who is looking after these and how do we deal with a situation where you cannot intervene? In an apparently neutral image of a forest and a stone fence, a male figure comes into view, and becomes an image of how one often approaches a barrier, a border, through language and action, but is inhibited, or confused, and does not know how to do this is crossed, who, or what guards it, or pilots one over.
