Geistlich, is the first collaboration between artist, editor and art critic, Emil Finnerud and filmmaker, photographer, musician and artist Carsten Aniksdal. The duo presents a new work consisting of mast and sail. On the surface of the sail you will find a foilated geometric symbol called "Matatron's Cube". The sign can be traced back to antiquity, and has been used in various religions and cultures over large parts of the world. From Plato via Judaism and to the alternative movement. The forms represent wind, water, fire, earth, the universe, and are seen as a kind of "mother of all forms". The duo has chosen to call the work "Geistlich".
